Mr. Peniuk's Class
December
Mr. Peniuk’s class has been busy building a hoverboard for the Beakerhead challenge. They started out by discussing how transportation has changed throughout the years. We discovered that technology has become more a part of transportation and also that vehicles are getting smaller and smaller. Using cardboard, tape, and other materials that students brought in from home, we created a stand up hoverboard that can be steered. There is a charger at the top of the steering wheel so that it can use battery power. There is a container on the bottom for fuel – but only if you run out of battery power. We also added plenty of small storage spaces too.
