October
Maker Stations is up and running for the year. This year students have a choice of activities to choose from. For the month of October, students could choose between a lego station, creation station, and technology station. In the Lego Station, students were encouraged to build 3D mosaics. In the creation station, students could create origami creations, cards, or paper airplanes. Students could also use the iPads to create artistic designs in the Doodle Buddy or Sketches apps. This month there was a building challenge: what is the tallest free-standing tower you could make with 50 toothpicks and two cups of marshmallows. Check out some of the students creations.
